Emily is my name. When I was born, it wasnt a very popular name, but now it is very popular.
Now i always try to come up with creative nicknames for people to call me. for example people call me: Scarlet, Ann, E, M&M, Raven, Scar, Emmy, Em...etc.
Its not that i dont LIKE my name, its just i want a more UNIQUE name. But i am happy to be who i am and thats good enough!!!

ReplyDeleteI sometimes wish my name was more unique, but now some unique names just sound chavvy!
I have a pretty unique name, which is nice. I tried giving my son a less common name, but wouldn't ya know it.. that's when everyone else decided they liked that name too!

I like your drawing. When I was naming my kids, I made sure to find less common names. They are unique without being too strange. But, sometimes less-unique names-while common-are still lovely names. I like the name Emily.
